ADEUS A EDITE PIZZATTO

Morreu no último dia 13, aos 98 anos, a cofundadora e ex-presidente da Rede Feminina de Combate ao Câncer, a professora Edite Pizzatto, viúva do grande idealista da Medicina paranaense, Dr. Antero Sady Pizzatto, que também foi um dos fundadores da Liga Paranaense de Combate ao Câncer. Ambos dedicaram suas trajetórias de vida a pacientes oncológicos carentes da região. O envolvimento de Edite com a filantropia teve origem no ano de 1940, quando se casou e, sete anos após, participou da fundação da Liga Paranaense de Combate ao Câncer (LPCC), mantenedora do Hospital Erasto Gaertner. Naquela década, teve os primeiros contatos com os pacientes necessitados e florescia ali a devoção ao próximo e o auxílio aos carentes. Com a criação da Rede Feminina de Combate ao Câncer, em 1954, iniciaram-se inúmeras ações de arrecadação de recursos para a construção do Hospital Erasto Gaertner, como bingos, desfiles, feiras, entre outros. Muitos eventos e campanhas foram realizados com a colaboração da sociedade e, aos poucos, a estrutura do Hospital foi tomando forma. Hoje, seus trabalhos perduram, porque Edite tornou-se motivação e inspiração para voluntários e parceiros que atuam diretamente na causa. A história da Liga e do Hospital estará, para sempre, relacionada à trajetória inigualável de Edite Pizzatto.
DIA DO LIVRO

Em comemoração ao mês internacional do livro, Shopping Total em parceria com a Uniandrade promovem diversas atividades gratuitas. A ação acontecerá nos dias 15 e 16 de abril, no setor verde do shopping, das 14h às 19h. O Shopping vai contar com um espaço especial para que o visitante possa desfrutar de uma boa leitura. Além disso, terá uma área totalmente voltada ao público infantil, com muitas atividades lúdicas e pedagógicas. Serão distribuídos mais de cinco mil livros para todos os visitantes do local. O evento proporcionará intervenções poéticas realizadas por alunos da Instituição. A comemoração também terá a “Hora do Conto Moderno”, momento de leitura dedicado especialmente às crianças e adolescentes. Os estudantes utilizarão objetos modernos para a realização da ação, como smartphone e carro de brinquedo. Esta edição também contará com “Poesia em Cápsula”. O Dr. Thiago Perez, autor do livro “Cada cabeza su sentencia”, estará no Shopping, às 18h, para um bate-papo sobre o atual contexto econômico e político do país.

VII Marriage Week

Many events and campaigns were conducted with the cooperation of society and gradually the structure of the hospital was taking shape. Today, his works endure because Edit became motivation and inspiration to volunteers and partners who work directly in the cause. The history of the League and the Hospital will be forever linked to the unparalleled path Edit Pizzatto.
BOOK DAY

In celebration of the International Book of the month, Shopping Total in partnership with Uniandrade promote various free activities. The action will take place on 15 and 16 April, the green shopping industry, from 14h to 19h. The mall will feature a special space for the visitor to enjoy a good read. You’ll also have a totally area dedicated to children, with many recreational and educational activities. They will be distributed over five thousand books for all site visitors. The event will provide poetic interventions by students of the institution. The celebration will also have the “Modern Story Time,” time reading especially dedicated to children and adolescents. Students will use modern objects to perform the action, such as smartphone and toy car. This edition will also feature “Poetry in Capsule”. Dr. Thiago Perez, author of “Every su cabeza sentences” will be at the Mall at 18h, for a chat about the current economic and political context of the country.
